Minister to Families at CBC since March 2007, Marty came to us after serving at Bold Springs Baptist Church in Monroe, Georgia as Youth Minister for 9 years.  Marty is presently working toward a Batchelor of Arts in Religion Degree at Luther Rice University.

With a belief that we are in constant warfare with Satan and all of his armies, he believes that it is his calling to show husbands, wives, and their children the only defense possible...and that defense is only found in Jesus Christ!  Marty believes in a firm foundation in God's Holy Word, seeking forgiveness and repentance everyday.  He believes in being doers of the Word and not just hearers.  With a wonderful overwhelming love for children and youth, Marty seeks to demonstrate the realness of God's power for every situation in life to that very impressionable age group.

Marty, in addition to serving as Minister to Families at CBC, is a very active planner and coordinator with the annual "Freedomfest" in Monroe every Independence Day as well as being active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Marty's hobbies include collecting Superman stuff as well as being a fan of Dean Martin music.
